PARA CYPRESS TEA
Green Tea Processing
Green tea is a non-oxidized tea, after tea are been plucked, it quickly heated through pan-fired (Taiwan and China) or steamed (Japan) then dried immediately to keep the grassy, vegetable aroma.
Fresh tea leaves are harvested and immediately shipping to tea processing factory.
Green tea is non oxidation tea. To keep the fresh green aroma, oxidation is halted through the high temperature (300º) pan-firing machine, deactivates the enzymes of tea.
The leaves are rolled through a rolling machine, giving the tea curled appearance.
The leaves are now dried through tea drying machine. The finished green tea contains a rest humidity of 3%-4.5%.
In this process, the moisture level of tea leaves are brought down to 3-5%. The enzyme activities stopped, giving the tea a stable situation with good shelf life.
